[post_content] => Ohr Pharmaceutical, a pharmaceutical company focused on the development of novel therapeutics for large unmet medical needs, and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) have announced the establishment of DepYmed Inc., a new joint venture to develop trodusquemine and related analogs.
The new joint venture will be a private entity, initially with equal ownership by Ohr and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. The two partners will seek funding and contribute to the research and development of trodusquemine and also newly patented analogs. The goal is to take the program into the clinic and to demonstrate proof of concept.
Andreas Grill, former Executive Director of Forest Research Institute for Forest Laboratories, Inc and current Center for Biotechnology BioEntrepreneur-inResidence has been tapped to serve as Chief Executive Office for DepYmed.

The delivery platforms should be compatible with biologic payloads (e. g. vaccines, monoclonal antibodies) that utilize the following alternative routes of administration:
- Oral
- Buccal/Sublingual
- Inhalation (e. g. aerosolization)
Other platforms
Technologies NOT of interest:
- Needle-based (e.g. auto injectors)
- Microneedle systems (e. g. patches)
- Implant-based
Particular interest in plug-and-play platforms that have potential to easily allow for the use of a wide variety of vaccines or therapeutics with the platform.
